• (Lightning distance unit> Lightning distance alert > Number of lightning strike alert >

• If one of the alert conditions applies, the alarm sound is triggered. Press any button
to switch off the beeping sound.
• Lightning distance alarm: Alarm when the lightning distance is found within the
distance set.
• Lightning count alarm: Alarm when the number of lightning strikes reaches or
exceeds the value set.
• Symbol lights up to show that the lightning alarm is switched on.
• Press the LIGHTNING button (7) to reach the lightning display and select the
frequency of lightning strikes per minute (10, 30, 60 min)
• Keep the button pressed to reach the alarm setting for lightning: km/miles > distance
> number of lightning > per min > alarm on/off > exit
• (Press the + or - button to set the value and then the LIGHTNING button (7) to confirm
the setting)
• Press the desired button to stop the lightning alarm sound.

r) UV index

• Press the UV button (6) to choose between the maximum UV per day, the current UV
and the exposure time; a bar chart of the maximum UV index per day is also shown.
Keep the UV button pressed to reach the UV setting mode: Skin type > SPF (SF= sun
protection factor) > exit (end)
• The UV index shows the strength of ultra violet (UV) rays of the sun. It helps to
effectively protect against UV light. Excessive exposure to sunlight can cause
sunburn, eye damage, aging of skin and skin cancer. It is recommended TO
correspondingly protect yourself (for instance, while wearing suncream and a hat),
when the UV index is 3 or higher.
