• Open the battery compartment of the external sensor and insert 4 AA batteries into
the battery compartment with the correct polarity (please note plus/+ and minus/-).
Close the battery compartment and tighten the screws.
• Connect the power supply to the rear of the weather station. Open the battery
compartment and insert 3 AA batteries with the correct polarity into the battery
compartment (please note plus/+ and minus/-). Close the battery compartment.
• The weather forecast indicator appears flashing in the display (15). Press
the + or - button to select the current weather conditions as start settings of the
weather forecast. Press the Clock/Set button (13) to confirm the entry.
• The symbol for the external sensor flashes in the display. The device is in search
mode. (If the symbol stops flashing you can keep the Search button (12) on the
weather station pressed down for 3 seconds to start the RF search)
• While the weather station is still in search mode, go to the external sensor and point
the wind vane to the north. Afterwards press the Transmit button (19) at the base
of the device once to send RF signals to the weather station for registration and
calibration. (the LED flashes on receipt 5 times).
