• Push the hose through the screw connection as far
as the stop.
• Tighten the screw connection using pliers
• In the case of a rigid pipe connection, the 1¼" cap
nuts included are used for the pump/pipe connec-
tion and the 1¼" x 1" reduction-piece for the
connection to the Fluid control.
7.1.4 Sub-Economy 2
For rigid pipe, nominal diameter 1¼" (diameter 40
mm)
• Connect the motor connecting cable to the con-
nection in the pressure switch.
• Screw the T-piece to the component.
• Make sure that the socket on the pressure gauge
is set to the highest position.
7.2 Electrical connection
DANGER! Mortal danger
If the electrical connection is not made cor-
rectly, there is a risk of a fatal shock.
Only allow the electrical connection to be made
by an electrical contractor approved by the
electricity supplier according to the local regu-
lations in force.
• The current and voltage of the mains connection
must correspond to the details on the name plate.

• 16A slow fuse on mains side
• When irrigating or sprinkling fields and gardens, a
30 mA residual current circuit breaker must be
installed.
• Use connecting cable that complies with the
standards/regulations in force and connect
according to the terminal connection diagram of
the switchgear or switch cabinet.
CAUTION! Risk of damage!
The max. length of the cable depends on the
nominal current consumption of the motor and
on the cable cross-section.
Check the length and diameter of the cable
before connecting it according to the table.
7.2.1 Sub-Economy 1
• The necessary electrical connections (mains and
motor connecting cable) are made on the Fluid
control at the works.The installation is ready for
connection.
7.2.2 Sub-Economy 2
• The mains connecting cable is already connected
to the pressure switch at the works.
• Guide the motor connecting cable through the cor-
responding cable screw connection and connect.

• Do not separate the cable between the switchbox
and the pump. The switchbox contains the neces-
sary motor condensers (EM and EMSC versions only).
• Provide an earth.
• Motor protection is provided by a thermal or mag-
netic switch (exists in the case of the EM version,
needs to be provided for the DM version)
