9.4 Changing Flash Time

During a conversation, the FLASH soft key allows
you to access the special services offered by the tele-
phone network or transfer a call to another extension
when you are connected to a PABX (Private
Automatic Branch of eXchange). For details, see par.
3.8.
If your FLASH key does not work properly, you need
to adjust the Flash time as follows:
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the Main menu
items.
2. Press repeatedly the navigation keys
to choose BS Settings, then press the SELECT soft
key.
9.5 Resetting the Base
Similarly to the handset reset (ref. par. 8.7), you can
reset the Base. This restores all the user selectable
features under the BS Settings menu to the factory
preset initial settings. The base reset can help to
solve some logical malfunctions related to the base.
To reset the base just follow these steps:
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the Main menu
items.
2. Press repeatedly the navigation keys
to choose BS Settings, then press the SELECT soft
key.
3. Enter the current base PIN to access the BS Settings
menu, and press the SELECT soft key.
