6. Bell & Beep
You can use the Bell&Beep menu to customize the following sound options; key tone, ring type,
ring volume and sleep mode.
✍ For information on setting the ring type and volume, see page par. 3.12 and 3.11

6.1 Setting Key Tone

Every time you press a key, your handset
ackowledges it with a key tone. You can set your
handset with a different key tone or to not sound
the key tone.
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the Main
menu items.
2. Press the navigation keys
choose Bell&Beep, and press the SELECT soft
key.

6.2 Setting Sleep Mode

This feature allows you to not be disturbed by the ring sound at night. With this feature set to ON the ring
volume automatically switches to minimum volume level during the time from 23:00 to 6:59.
To enable or disable the sleep mode:
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the Main
menu items.
2. Press the navigation keys
choose Bell&Beep, and press the SELECT soft
key.

option. The current setting appears inside the
box with a check symbol at the right.
