Performing measurements

Single distance measurement
Press the button to enable the laser. The laser symbol appears in
the dis- play, and the red laser dot appears on the surface the
laser measuring device is pointed at. Press the button again to start
the measuring action. The measured values are shown directly in the
display.
Permanent measurement (tracking)
and min/max measurement
For permanent measurement, the device is pointed at the object to be
measured; the measured values are then updated every 0.5 seconds.
The corresponding minimum and maximum values are shown dynami-
cally in the first and second lines.
