The label (laser outlet) marks the point at which the digital laser
distance measuring device generates its laser light. When using the
device, you need to know where the laser light is emitted. Make sure
that all users are aware of the dangers related to direct eye contact
with the laser beam.
• Do not remove or modify any of the product labels.
• The digital laser distance measuring device is not a toy. Always keep
it out of the reach of children. The laser light generated by this device
must not be pointed at persons or animals.
• Do not use the device in the presence of children or allow children to
operate the device.
• Never position the device so that a person can deliberately or inadver-
tently look into the laser beam.
• Do not use the device on shiny or reflective surfaces such as sheet
steel. The reflective surface could direct the beam back towards the
operator.
• Always switch off the device when it is not in use. Leaving the device
switched on increases the risk of a person inadvertently looking into the
laser beam.
• Never attempt to repair or disassemble the device. If unqualified per-
sons attempt to repair this device, the consequence could be serious
injuries. Any repair worked required on the laser measuring device must
be performed by STORCH's authorised after-sales service.
• Do not operate the device in combustible areas, for example, in the
vicinity of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
• The use of accessories designed for other laser measuring devices can
lead to serious injuries.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
