11. Troubleshooting

You have problems logging on the internet radio to your WiFi:
• Check if another device, such as a computer or tablet, can access the internet through the WiFi.
• Check if your router's DHCP server is running, whether the static IP address is properly configured with
all configurations (subnet mask, standard gateway) in the internet radio.
• Ensure that your firewall doesn't block the necessary outbound ports.
• Some access points are configured not to admit any new devices while their MAC address has not been
entered on the configuration page in the access point. For this, observe the manual of your access point
or router.
The MAC address can be found in the following menu item:
"Informations Center" – "System Information" – "Wireless Info" – "MAC Address"
• Check if the right WiFi key has been entered. Observe capitalisation.
The internet radio is connected to your network but does not play specific radio stations:
• The internet radio station may not be broadcasting right now. This may be connected to different time
zones as well.
• It is possible that too many visitors try to access the station's server at the same time. This may cause an
overload.
• It is also possible that only a specific number of users may access the server at a time, and that this
number has currently been reached.
• It is also possible that the station does not broadcast at all anymore.
• The link filed to the internet radio station may not be up to date anymore. The links are updated daily.
Usually, the station should be available again one or two days later.
• It is possible that the internet connection between the radio station in another country and yours is
temporarily or permanently too slow. Try out if you can play back the station on a computer or another
device.
You want to use the UPnP function, but the radio does not find any device in the network:
• Check if the radio is connected to your WiFi. The radio and the server also must be in the same network.
• A firewall that may block access to the released or public folders is active on your UPnP server. For this,
observe the manual of your firewall if required.
You can see the computer from which you want to play music in the list, but you can't find a folder:
• If a firewall is running on the computer or server, check if it may block access to the folder. You can
briefly deactivate your firewall for a quick test.
You cannot release any folders because the function is not displayed:
• Activate the file sharing function on your system.
