connected?
Is the bimetal switch in
good condition?
Is there AC voltage (100-
240V) applied across
C701?
Disconnect the P741
connector. Is there 6V
output at pins (11) and
(12)?
Check the main PWB for
short-circuit.

Reconnect the P701,
YES
P711 and P741
connectors tightly.
NO
YES
Replace the bimetal switch.
NO
Replace F701.
YES
NO
Check IC721, R738, R739
and their peripheral ICs for
YES
damages. Replace any of
them as required.
