Storage

1. Once the device has completely cooled down and the water reservoir is empty (see
the "Use" chapter, "After Use" section), place it into the storage station with the
adapter.
2. Move the adapter catch to position B. You can now lift up the iron with the storage
station.
3. Wind up the mains cable.
4. Store the device in a dry, clean, frost-free location which is out of the reach of children
and animals.

Self-Cleaning Function

CAUTION!
• Danger of scalding! Hot water and steam will emerge from the bottom of the iron dur-
ing the self-cleaning process. Keep the bottom of the iron away from all body parts
and delicate materials when you press the self-cleaning button (19)!
• Only ever press the self-cleaning button to perform self-cleaning and not during
ironing!
As the temperature drops quickly with this function, we recommend that the iron
should be attached to the mains cable and connected to the mains power.
The device has a self-cleaning function allowing limescale residues to be removed from
the device. Additional descaling of the device is not necessary. Perform the working
steps which are described below regularly (at least every 10 operating hours):
1. Fill the water reservoir up to the max marking with tap water (see the "Use" chapter,
"Filling the Water Reservoir" section).
2. Attach the iron to the adapter and insert the mains plug into a properly installed plug
socket that is easily accessible.
3. Heat the device up to the highest temperature setting.
4. Hold the device horizontally over a sink or similar outlet.
8. If you need to, operate the device again for a short time in order to allow any remain-
ing amounts of water to evaporate.

5. Press the self-cleaning button (19).
6. Allow the water reservoir to run completely empty. Tilt the
device back and forth slightly to allow the water to run out
of all nozzles.
7. Repeat the cleaning process several times until no more
limescale residues emerge from the nozzles.
