Preparethebody
Cleanthe
insideofthebody
withwarmsoapy
waterto removeanymold
lubricantsthat cancausethe
paintnottostick,then rinsewithwarm
water.Wipethebodydrywithasoftlint-freeclothand
payattentionto thesmallcreaseswherewatermightbe present.Thebodymust
bedryforthepainttostickproperly.

Trimthemaskingtape
Useasharphobbyknife tocut themaskingtapeintheshapeofthewindows
whilethetapeisontheinsideofthebody.Takeyour timehereandbecareful.
Thisisonestepthatshouldn´tberushed.

Paintthebody
Usepaintsmade specificallyforLEXANbodiesonly!Inawellventilated dustfree
area,spraythebodyinverylightcoats.Sprayingtoomuchatone timewillcause
thepaint tobleedunderthetape.Allowthepaintto dryfor 20minbetweenthe
coats.Letthepaintdry!

Attachwingandsidedams
Trimthewingand sidedams.Drillsmall1/8"mountingholesinthewingandwing
mountsonthebody.Screwthe wingto thebody,thensecurewith nuts.Attachthe
sidedamsusingservotape.

Applythemaskingtape
Applyhighqualitymaskingtapeto theinsideofthebody.Cheaporoldmasking
tapecancausethepainttosneakunderthetape,sobecareful.Windowsand
areassuchasstripesmustbemaskedbeforepainting.Planthepaintschemeso
darkcolorsaresprayedfirst,lightcolorslast.

Seal themaskingtape
Onceyoufinishedtrimmingthemaskingtape,takeyourfingernailandrunit
acrossalloftheedges.Thiswillkeepthepaintfrom"bleeding"under thetape.

Trimthebody
Oncethepainthasdried,it´stimetotrimthebody.Usingcurvedhobbyscissors
orahobbyknife,trimaroundthebottomofthebody.Wehaveprovidedtrimlines
onthebodytomakethisstepeasier.Useadremeltool,drillorreamerto open
thebodypostholes.

Applydecalstobody
Trimthedecalswithscissorsorasharpknife,cuttingasclosetotheedgeofthe
decalsaspossible.Windowlinesarebestappliedinsegmentsinsteadofone
largepiece.Alightmistofglasscleaneronthebodyhelpsallowyoutoreposition
thelargedecals.Squeegeetheglasscleaneroutwithadrycloth.Usecarwaxfor
ectrashine.
