Transport

Only transport the diaphragm valve by

suitable means. Do not drop. Handle
carefully.
Dispose of packing material according

to relevant local or national disposal
regulations / environmental protection
laws.
7.2

Delivery and performance

Check that all parts are present and

check for any damage immediately upon
receipt.
The scope of delivery is apparent from the

dispatch documents and the design from
the order number.
The valve's delivery condition:

The performance of the diaphragm valve

is checked at the factory.

Storage

Store the diaphragm valve free from dust

and moisture in its original packaging.
Avoid UV rays and direct sunlight.

Maximum storage temperature: 40 °C.

Solvents, chemicals, acids, fuels or

similar fl uids must not be stored in the
same room as valves and their spare
parts.

Tools required

The tools required for installation and

assembly are not included in the scope of
delivery.

GEMÜ 625 is a metal diaphragm valve with
a 2/2-way, T or tank bottom valve body or in
multi-port design. It has a low maintenance
piston actuator which can be controlled by
inert gaseous media. An optical position
indicator is integrated as standard. The
valve body and the diaphragm are available
in various designs as shown in the data
sheet. The valve has CIP / SIP cleaning and
sterilizing capabilities. Diverse accessories
are available, such as stroke limiters, pilot
valves, positioners, electrical position
indicators with microswitches or proximity
switches.
