6.1.10 Travel direction selector switch (not with MDC variant)
The travel direction selector switch is located on the joy-
stick.
Note
If the driver leaves the driver seat while the driving direc-
tion selector switch is on "Forward" or "Reverse", the motor
shuts down.
FORWARD: Switch towards the front, direction of travel

FORWARD is activated and the travel direction prese-
lection indicator "forward" is illuminated.
Note
In this position the parking brake is automatically re-
leased.
REVERSE: Switch towards the back, direction of travel

REVERSE is activated and the travel direction prese-
lection indicator "reverse" is illuminated.
Note
In this position the parking brake is automatically re-
leased.
NEUTRAL: The switch position is in the middle, no in-

dicator is illuminated.
Note
In this position the parking brake is automatically ap-
plied, the vehicle does not drive.

1 Switch cruise control
The cruise control only works in the WORK MODE and
CRAWL MODE.
6.1.8.1 Activating the cruise control
Select the desired working speed via the drive pedal.

If the vehicle moves at the desired speed, push SET on

the switch for the cruise control. The cruise control is
activated.
Subsequently increasing the speed: Push SET +
Subsequently decreasing the speed: Push RES –
Note
The speed can be reduced via the inching pedal for a
short period of time. If the inching pedal is released, the
vehicle runs at the set motor speed again.
6.1.8.2 Deactivating the cruise control
For deactivation the brake pedal must be operated or

the inching pedal must be floored.
After deactivating the cruise control, the previously

saved speed is reactivated by pushing RES (while driv-
ing).

6.1.9.1 Activating the cruise control
Select the desired working speed via the drive pedal.

If the vehicle moves at the desired speed, push the

cruise control switch. The cruise control is activated.
6.1.9.2 Deactivating the cruise control
For deactivation the brake pedal must be operated or

the cruise control switch must be pushed.
