Charging via USB cable:
To avoid unnecessary strain on the batteries in the trans-
mitter, you may also charge the helicopter's flight battery
using the included USB cable (1).
Connect the round plug connector of the USB charge ca-
ble to the charging socket of the helicopter.
Connect the USB plug (2) of the charging cable to a com-
puter or notebook.
When the red LED indicator (3) of the charging electron-
ics lights up in the USB plug, the rechargeable battery is
charged. When the charger LED goes out, the charging
process is completed and the charging cable can be dis-
connected from the helicopter and computer.
For photo-technical reasons, the USB charg-
ing cable is illustrated in the wound-up state.
Before first use, the cable retainer should be
opened and the cable unwound.
Do not connect the charging cable to a USB hub without a
separate mains adapter (e.g. a keyboard USB port, etc.),
because these will not provide sufficient current for charg-
ing.
The operating system does not recognize any
new hardware after connection of the charging
cable, because the USB port is only used for
power supply.
Please observe that the USB ports of your computer/notebook are usually only active when the computer/
notebook is switched on.
Therefore, we recommend to only connect the charging cable to a computer/notebook that is switched on.
