Personal safety

• Fix the welding plate to a flat, solid substructure
• Only use the welding plate in weather-proofed places
• Only use the welding plate if it is in perfect working order
• Store the welding plate in a locked room out of the reach of children
• Do not use the welding plate if tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or
medications
• Do not leave the welding plate unattended
• Only replace damaged parts with original Geberit spare parts
• Wear non-slip safety shoes
• Tie up baggy or loose clothing
• Keep long hair in place with a hair net
Maintenance of the electric tool
• Store the welding plate in a dry room
• Clean the welding plate regularly and check its operability
• Clean dirty welding plate when slightly warm, using a clean, dry cloth
• Do not use fluids for cleaning
• Do not use steel wool or other similar products when cleaning
• Have any malfunctions and damage to the welding plate repaired immediately by
Geberit or an authorized repair shop
