PREPARATION

BEFORE FIRST USE

Before first use and after prolonged storage period, clean the mixing jug in warm soapy
water and then dry thoroughly (see: ›Care and Cleaning‹).

ASSEMBLING THE BLENDER JUG

1. Put the sealing ring on the inner edge of the blade unit.
2. Put the blade unit with sealing ring into the cup base.
3. Mount the cup base under the base of the blender jug and turn the cup base clock-
wise until it is fixed.
4. Mount the cup with the beaker onto the blender jug.
5. Place the beaker into the lid and close the blender jug with the lid.

INSERTING THE BLENDER JUG

1. Make sure that the blender is switched off (Switch in the ›0‹ setting).
2. Place the blender jug on the motor base. The mixer operates only with mounted blen-
der jug. If you remove it during operation the mixer stops automatically.
