Before Initial Use

CAUTION!
❐ Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. There is a danger of suffocation!
1. Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items Supplied and
Device Overview" chapter) and transport damage. If you fi nd any damage to the components,
do not use them (!), but contact the customer service department.
2. If provided remove the transport lock from the On / Off switch.
3. Charge up the battery (see the "Charging up the Battery" chapter).

Fitting the Wall Mounting Bracket

CAUTION!
❐ Choose a suitable place for the wall mounting bracket which should be as dry and close to
a plug socket as possible.
❐ Make sure that you do not drill into or destroy any pipes or cables. Find out
where possible pipes or cables may run and avoid them.
1. Now hold the wall mounting bracket against the chosen location and mark the drill holes
using a pencil.
2. Then attach the wall mounting bracket to the wall using the associated screws and dowels.
3. If the barrel connector is not already attached in the wall mounting bracket, plug it into the
holder which is provided for this purpose.

Charging Up the Battery

CAUTION!
❐ Remove the mains plug of the charger from the plug socket if you are not using it for a
prolonged period.
❐ Make sure that the device is switched off before you connect it to the charger!
❐ It is essential that you charge up the battery fully before you fi rst use the device
in order to achieve the maximum charging capacity. The fi rst charge will last for
approx. 14 hours.
❐ If the battery is fully discharged during use, it will take approx. 14 hours for the
battery to be recharged.
1. First plug the barrel connector of the charger into the connecting socket on the bottom of
the cordless vacuum cleaner (or hook the motor unit into the wall mounting bracket) and
then into a properly installed and easily accessible plug socket.
