Zu Verbinden der Tragflächenhälften
Joining the Wing Panels
Halten Sie die Abdeckung mit dem montierten Servo im Ausschnitt
fest, bohren zu allen 4 Ecken im Abstand von 3mm, ein Loch für
die 2x8mm Holzschrauben zur Befestigung vor.
While holding the servo hatch cover firmly in place and aligned, carefully
drill four 1/16" diameter pilot holes into the servo hatch cover and
through the wing, 1/8" in from each corner of the servo hatch cover.
Secure the servo hatch cover assembly to the wing using four
M2 x 8 wood screws.
Repeat the previous procedures to install the second servo hatch
cover assembly onto the other wing panel.
Schneiden Sie die Folie an der Wurzelrippe so ab, dass nur noch
ein ca. 1,5mm breiter Rand bleibt.
WICHTIG!!
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie genügend Folie entfernen, damit die
beiden Wurzelrippen gut miteinander verklebt werden können.
Using a modeling knife, cut away and remove the excess covering
material that overlaps onto the root ribs of each wing panel, leaving
about 1/16" overlapped so it does not pull away.
IMPORTANT It's very important to the integrity of the wing center
section joint that you remove as much covering material from the root
ribs as possible.
Markieren Sie die Mitte auf dem Tragflächenverbinder.
Use a ruler and a pencil to locate and draw a vertical centerline on each
side of the hardwood wing joiner.
Prüfen Sie, ob der Tragflächenverbinder in jeder Hälfte bis zur
Markierung in der Mitte leicht eingeschoben werden kann. Falls
nicht, mit 220-er-Schleifpapier etwas nacharbeiten.
ACHTUNG!
Im Flächenverbinder ist die V-Form bereits eingearbeitet, achten
Sie darauf, dass diese nach oben zeigt.
Test-fit the wing joiner into each wing panel. It should slide easily into
each wing panel up to the centerline you drew.
If it does not fit properly, use 220 grit sandpaper with a sanding block to
lightly sand the edges and tips of the joiner, until you are satisfied with
the fit.
IMPORTANT The wing joiner is cut in the shape of a shallow "V."
Make sure that this "V" shape is toward the top of the wing.
This will ensure that the wing panels fit together with the
proper amount of dihedral.
