Rotisserie spit
Top heat and rotisserie spit
The rotisserie spit is designed for the grilling of poultry up to approx. 2 kg and roasts
up to approx. 1 kg
1. Secure one of the fork clamps with the fork points facing towards the centre
to the spit.
2. Slide the spit through the centre of the prepared and seasoned food you wish
to roast.
3. Slide the second fork clamp onto the spit, so that the fork points face towards
the centre.
4. Push both fork clamps into the food to be grilled so that it is properly secured
at the centre of the spit. It is important that the spit is inserted to the centre
of the piece to be grilled, so that the food can rotate smoothly and is evenly
roasted. Tie the wings and legs of poultry with kitchen twine to the body (use
heat-resistant foodgrade twine).
5. First insert the pointed end of the spit into the recess on the right side of the
baking compartment.
6. Then engage the other end of the spit into the holder on the left side of the
compartment.
7. Ensure that there is a minimum distance of 2 cm between the food and the
heating elements, as there is otherwise a risk that the food might catch fire.
8. We recommend regularly applying oil or marinade onto the food to keep it moist
with a crispy crust.
9. Select the desired function using the function switch.
10. Set the temperature to 230 °C.
11. Set the timer to the desired grilling time.
12. After the set grilling time has lapsed, the oven is automatically switched off
and beeps.
Grilling with top heat
To grill steaks, etc. on the rack:s
1. Prepare, season, etc. your food.
2. Place the grease drip/crumbs tray in the oven.
3. Depending on the thickness of your pieces, insert the grilling rack at the centre
of upper oven rail.
4. Place the food on the rack. Never cover the rack with aluminium foil.
5. Select the desired function using the function switch.
6. Set the temperature to 230 °C.
7. Set the timer to the desired grilling time.
8. After the set grilling time has lapsed, the oven is automatically switched off
and beeps.
