h) Mode 8

Mode 8 is a special charging programme for 12 v lead-calcium batteries.
Never charge other batteries with this charging programme!

Suitable for:
Press the MODE button (2) for approx. three seconds until the LEDs SUPPLY (9) and Ca 12 v (10) flash. Then
press the MODE button (2) briefly again twice so that the LED Ca 12 v (10) is illuminated and only the LED
SUPPLY (9) goes out.
The LED Ca 12 v (10) is illuminated during charging and CHARGING (11) is shown in the display (15).
Press the DISPLAY button (14) to show the charging voltage vOLTAGE (13) or the charging current CURRENT (12).
When a battery voltage of 14.7 v is reached, the charging process is interrupted for 30 minutes.
Afterwards, charging is continued with a constant voltage of 16 v and a constant current of 1.5 A until the battery
voltage of 16 v is reached.
When the display (15) shows CHARGING (11) 100 (%) as charging status, the entire charging process is complete
and the charger switches to conservation charging.
