f) Mode 6

Mode 6 is a charging programme whose charging output is limited to a voltage of 13.6 v. This allows 12 v batteries
to be connected continuously without being overcharged. The charging current is controlled automatically depending
on the charge condition.

Press the MODE button (2) repeatedly until the LED MANUAL (8) is illuminated.
The LED MANUAL (8) is illuminated during charging and CHARGING (11) is shown in the display (15).
Press the DISPLAY button (14) to show the charging voltage vOLTAGE (13) or the charging current CURRENT (12).
When the display (15) shows CHARGING (11) 100 (%) as charging status, the charging process is complete and
the charger switches to conservation charging.
The device has an overload switch-off for this charging mode. If the battery voltage drops below 4.5 v and
the charging current increases to over 6 A at the same time, the charger switches off (only LED POWER (1)
is still illuminated).

g) Mode 7

In mode 7, the charger can be used as power supply of 12 v devices.

Press the MODE button (2) for approx. three seconds until the LEDs SUPPLY (9) and Ca 12 v (10) flash. Then
press the MODE button (2) briefly again so that the LED Ca 12 v (10) goes out and only the LED SUPPLY (9) is
illuminated.
If no load is connected to the connection clips, the device switches directly to the power supply mode (LED
SUPPLY (9) is illuminated) after pressing the MODE button (2) for three seconds.
Press the DISPLAY button (14) to show the vOLTAGE (13) or the CURRENT (12).
If mode 7 is activated without a battery connected, voltage is available at the charging output im-
mediately. In this operating mode the "anti-spark protection" (see chapter "Protective Equipment"
is deactivated but the protection against incorrect polarity is still activated. when connecting to a
12 V load, sparks can occur due to charge equalisation. Ensure the correct polarity when connect-
ing 12 V loads.
The device has an overload switch-off for this charging mode. If the voltage drops below 12 v due to over-
loading, the charger switches off (only LED POWER (1) is still illuminated).
