Flushing

To mitigate the risk of static sparks, fires, and explosions, push the metal part of the gun firmly against the metal
bucket during flushing. This also avoids splashes.
Always remove the spraying nozzle before flushing.
1.
Be sure the gun's safety latch is engaged and that the is no spraying nozzle in the gun.
2. Fill a sufficient amount of clean and compatible solvent into a metal bucket, to fill the
pumps and hoses.
3. Route the suction hose or the suction pipe into the bucket via the bypass hose.
4. Set the pressure regulator button to the lowest position.
5. Open the ventilation/pressure relief valve
(ventilation position).
6. Turn the ON/OFF switch to ON. Now slowly turn the pressure regulator button clockwise (to approx. the 9 o'clock
position) until the device starts to run and clear solvent exits through the bypass hose, suction hose/suction pipe.
7. Point the spraying gun at the metal bucket and press it firmly against the bucket.
8. Disengage the gun's safety latch and squeeze the trigger. Now close the ventilation/
pressure relief valve. The solvent is fed into the hose. Continue flushing until clean
solvent exists from the gun.
Change between the two circuits by opening and closing the ventilation/pressure relief valve. After flushing with
approx. half a bucket (in case of water; approx. ¼ bucket for synthetic solvents) of solvent, switch the device off and
relieve the pressure by opening the ventilation/pressure relief valve. Now unscrew the device's filter cartridge and clean
the housing, the filter and the filter core. Then re-assemble; run the device and flush until only clean solvent escapes.
Never leave water or solvent in the device after flushing; pump this at low speed through the hose and out of the gun.
