continuous retraction and extension of the blind in case of rapidly changing light
conditions. In case of need, the lag periods may be changed as described in the
chapter "Delay time of the shading" (p. 116).

Now the sun direction is requested,
which the blind is to provide shade for.
By using + or – please select one of the
following possibilities: "from any direction",
"from east", "from south", "from west" or "set angle". Confirm your entry
with ok.
The sun angle (azimuth) is specified in degrees (°). North is 0°, east 90°,
south 180° and west 270°. The shading
"from east" implies a coverage from 0°
to 180°, "from south" 90° to 270° and
"from west 180° to 0°.
If you select "set angle", you may adjust
the angle with a numerical value in the
next step. The sun must be within this
angle for the blind to provide shade. The
grey area in the illustration shows a
schematic setting from 135° to 270°.
Confirm the angle setting with ok.
Irrespective of the selected settings for the light intensity, the blind will be
retracted in case of wind alarm. Blocking temperatures that are not reached also
have priority over the sun intensity (please see chapter "Blocking temperatures
for blinds" below).

Now adjust the twilight setting. By using
the + or – keys, please select whether the
blind should be automatically closed at
night (twilight setting).
Confirm with ok.
Irrespective of the activation of the twilight
setting, an additional time period may be
set in the next step during which the blind
is closed every day.
Using the + or – key and ok, please select the time period during which the
blind should always be closed (same values in "from" and "until" will
disable this function). Confirm with ok.
