Inspection of the rain sensor

Moisten one or several of the golden sensor surfaces in the cover of the weather
station. The display will indicate "Rain" on the display page with humidity and
wind. Please note that after drying of the sensor the rain indication will continue
to be displayed for another 5 minutes.

Inspection of the wind sensor

If you blow into the sensor tube on the underside of the weather station, the
corresponding speed will be shown on the display in meters per second. Just as
the rain indication, the wind alarm will also be maintained for 5 minutes. If
during these 5 minutes the saved value is exceeded, the hold time will start
again.

Inspection of the temperature sensors and of the hygrometer

If reasonable values are shown on the display, you may assume proper
functioning. Normal values are approx. 25% RH to 65% RH in living spaces. After
the installation it may take some hours for the hygrometer to display normal
values.
In case that the temperature and humidity values displayed at the central unit
are not representative for the room average (f. ex. if the control is often exposed
to direct sun, or is installed at a very cool place in the room), you may adjust the
display values of the sensors (see chapter "Adjustment of sensors", p. 115).

Inspection of the drives/motors

With the and keys in the control panel, you may drive the motors connected
at the corresponding channels into both directions, provided that no alarm has
been triggered by rain or wind.
If a window drive is connected, it must open the window if the key is pressed.
If an awning or blind is connected, it must retract if the key is pressed (no
shade).
If the rotating direction of a drive should be faulty, it may be corrected as
described in the chapter "Basic adjustment of the connected components" (p.
109).
