10. Operation

a) Starting DCF Reception Attempt Manually

• Push the buttons „+" and „-" at the same time to restart the DCF reception attempt. When
the radio tower symbol (5) for DCF reception flashes, release the buttons again.
• The DCF signal search will take several minutes. Do not move the weather station
during this time and do not press any button.
Do not put the weather station next to electronic devices, metal parts, cables,
etc. Bad reception can also be expected, e.g. in case of metallised insulation
glass windows, reinforced concrete construction, coated special wallpaper or
basement rooms.
• To cancel the search, keep the two buttons „+" and „-" pushed until the radio tower
symbol (5) disappears.

b) Manually Initiating Search for Outdoor Sensors

• Keep the button „CHANNEL" (E) pushed for about 3 seconds until the reception signal
(23) for the radio signal of the outer sensors is flashing.
• The sensor search takes about 3 minutes. Do not move the weather station and outdoor
sensor during this time and do not push any button.
Select the transmission channel with the button „CH" in the battery compartment
of the outer sensor.
When operating only a single outdoor sensor, always set the channel to 1. If
several outdoor sensors are operated (up to 3 are possible), set a different
channel for each outdoor sensor.
