Intended use
The product is used as a surveillance camera. Operation or programming is con-
trolled with the app "Mini WiFi Cam" . It runs on any smartphone or tablet with an
Android™ or Apple iOS operating system.
Footage is directly transmitted to the smartphone or tablet via the integrated WLAN
hotspot. In addition, the camera can be integrated into an existing WLAN network.
The camera is also equipped with the option to store footage on a micro SD card.
The product is powered by the enclosed AC adapter or a permanently installed
rechargeable battery.

1. Open www.conrad.com/downloads in a browser or scan
the displayed QR code.
2. Select document type and language and enter the item
number into the search field. After submitting the query
you can download displayed records.
Safety Instructions
The warranty/guarantee will be void in the event of damage caused by failure
to observe these operating instructions. We do not assume any liability for
any resulting damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such cases,
the warranty will be null and void!
• For safety and licensing reasons (CE), unauthorised conversion and/or mod-
ification of the product is not permitted.
• The design of the power adapter complies with Protection Class II.
• The mains socket for the AC adapter should be near by the device and easily
accessible.
• The product and the AC adapter are suited for indoor usage in dry locations
only. Do not expose these product components to direct sunlight, heat or
cold, damp or wet conditions; otherwise damage may occur.
The AC adapter poses the risk of a potentially life-threatening electric shock!
• Do not unplug the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the
cable.
• Do not touch any power adapter that shows signs of damage; there is a
danger to life from electric shock!
Switch off the power supply to the power outlet to which the plug trans-
former is connected (e.g., switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or
remove the safety fuse and then switch off the corresponding RCD). Only
then unplug the power adapter from the mains socket and take the product
to a specialised workshop.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could be-
come a dangerous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or acci-
dental falls, even from a low height.
• If you are not going to use the camera for a long time (putting it e.g. to
storage), recharge the battery every 3 months at the latest to prevent deep
discharge. In the event of a deep discharge, the built-in Li rechargeable bat-
tery will be permanently damaged!

Camera assembly and connection
Installing the camera
• You can mount the camera in two ways. Either fasten the mount using the screws
and screw-plugs from the scope of supply, or just attach the magnetic mount to
a metallic surface.
• See the proper assembly of the mount
including the camera in the figure on
the right.
• Should you choose fixed installation
and need wall plugs to fasten the cam-
era mount on the wall (depending on
the wall condition), mark the exact lo-
cation for the drill holes through the
screw holes in the wall mount.
Make sure you do not damage any
existing wires or pipes when drill-
ing mounting holes or tightening
screws.
Fasten the wall mount to the wall with
the three screws (and wall plugs, if
necessary).
Connecting the Camera
• Before the camera can be used with a rechargeable battery, the latter must be
charged first. To do this, it is enough to connect the camera to power supply. The
rechargeable battery is being charged as long as the red LED on the back of the
camera is lit. Once it is fully charged, the LED goes out.
• Now connect the output of the enclosed power adapter to the socket on the cam-
era provided for this purpose to configure the camera and charge the rechargea-
ble battery at the same time. You will find the socket on the back, in the corner on
the top left. It is the largest hole on the back. The on/off slide switch is right next
to it (top right).
• Now plug the power supply into a power outlet.
• To switch on the camera, slide the small switch to the right, outwards from the
power socket. The yellow LED on the rear flashes if the camera is not logged in to
the Internet.
• If you also intend to use a memory card, insert it into the card slot before switch-
ing on the camera. You will find the slot in the centre on the back of the camera.
If a memory card is inserted, only automatic recording is possible in motion
detection mode.
The contacts of the micro SD card must point downwards or outwards from
the power socket.
Slide the card into the slot so that it clicks into place.
If you want to remove the card later on, push down on the card so that it unlocks.
Then remove it from the slot.
• Configuration and operation ensue wirelessly via WLAN.
Downloading the app
• Open the appropriate App Store on your smartphone or
tablet. For Android™, this is e.g., "Google Play Store" . If
you are using an iPhone, iPad or an iPod Touch, open Ap-
ple's "iTunes Store" .
• Search for the application "Mini WiFi Cam" and install it.
• You can also easily scan the following QR code that applies for your system. You
will be directed to the page of the appropriate store.
