Care and maintenance

CAUTION
Remove the battery prior to any care and
maintenance work.
Cleaning the device
 Wipe the appliance using a damp cloth.
Do not use any aggressive agents,
such as cleaning powder.
Change/ clean the roller brush
see Figure 9
 To remove the brush roller, place the
device in an upright position (see Chap-
ter "Storing the appliance").
 Press the unlocking button and remove
the brush roller.
 Wrapped up leaves, grass, small
branches, hair or strings are best loos-
ened using a knife or scissors and then
removed.
 Insert the cleaned or new brush roller
and check the proper position.

Troubleshooting

Charger display does not glow
 Check connection from charger to bat-
tery
 No battery connected.
 Check power supply of the socket.
Charging mode display flashes red
 Fault. Disconnect charging device and
battery, and reconnect.
 Call Customer Service.
The charge indicator lights in red
 Temperature fault, charging was inter-
rupted. Accumulator and charger must
be in the specified ambient tempera-
ture.
Appliance does not clean properly
 Clean or replace the brush rollers (refer
chapter "Replace/ clean brush roller").
 Charge the battery (refer chapter
"Charging the battery).
The operating state indicator light in
 Turn off the appliance.
 Remove battery
 Check if foreign matters block the
brushes; remove foreign matter if re-
quired.
Dirt is being thrown out of the appli-
 Empty the full dirt container (refer chap-
ter "Empty dirt container").
