CarClean Set Plus
(see the illustrations on pages 2, 4 and 5)
The Miele CarClean Set Plus has been
designed for use with Miele series
S 227 to S 858 and S 4000 and S 5000
cylinder vacuum cleaners.
If your vacuum cleaner is fitted with
hose connector A, you can use the
CarClean Set hose as it is.
If your vacuum cleaner is fitted with
another type of hose connector, you will
need to use one of the following
adapters to attach the CarClean Set
Plus suction hose to the cleaner:
– Adapter B for vacuum cleaners in the
S 4000 and S 5000 series.
– Adapter C for all other vacuum
cleaners.
^ Attach adapter B or C to the
CarClean Set Plus suction hose. It
must click into place. Take care to
position it correctly (see illustration
above).

CarClean Set Vario
(see the illustrations on pages 3 and 5)
The Miele CarClean Set Vario has been
designed for use with Miele and
non-Miele cylinder vacuum cleaners.
This set does not include a 3 metre
extension suction hose. The adapter f
supplied with this set is required for
connecting the accessories to
non-Miele cylinder vacuum cleaners.

a Micro-hose with combination nozzle
(crevice nozzle and dusting brush)
b Hand-held Turbobrush
c Crevice nozzle (300 mm)
d + e Extension suction hose (3 m)
with hose clip (supplied only with
CarClean Set Plus)
f Adapter (supplied only with
CarClean Set Vario)

^ Fit the locking ring or the adapter into
the suction socket on your vacuum
cleaner (illustrations g to i).
To remove the suction hose from the
vacuum cleaner,
^ press the release button (illustrations
j to l) and pull the locking ring or
adapter out of the socket
Important note for Miele vacuum
cleaner models S 356i / S 456i
^ Insert the bridging piece supplied
with your S 356i / S 456i into the slot
on the suction hose adapter, then fit
the adapter into the suction socket as
shown (illustration m).
