Registering/teaching another additional remote control/button pair:
Press the top button "Unlock" for approx. 2 seconds, to start the teach
process.
The LC display shows "X", the symbols for radio reception and
"Unlock"flash (aborting the teach process is possible as described above).
Now, press any button on the "Master" remote control, that is already
assigned to the KeyMatic, until a free memory location is shown instead of
"X", e.g. "2".
The device LED of the master remote control is illuminated in red when
authenticating!
In order to teach another button pair or a single button, set the remote con-
trol to configuration mode and briefly press one of the buttons of the button
pair or respective button to be taught.
Button pairs that are configured as "OFF/ON" buttons are taught with the
Lock/Unlock functions and a long press on the "ON" button will also open
the door.
To teach another remote control/button(pair), start again from the beginning.
The next free memory location appears (from 1-K). If there is no free memory
location, an error message ("FULL") appears on the LC display and the
menu is aborted.
Up to 30 buttons on up to 20 different remote controls can be taught. The
memory location shown on the display of the door lock drive symbolizes a
remote control. If more buttons(pairs) of a remote control have been taught,
this is also only shown with one memory location (for the remote control).
We recommend that you mark the remote controls, e.g. write a number or a
letter inside the battery compartment cover.
If you pass the remote controls to a certain person, labeling remote control
with the assignment is a good idea (who has which remote control). If lost,
the right remote control can be blocked simply and quickly (more precisely,
the memory location & the assignment of the remote control is deleted in
the door lock drive). The master remote control is recognized immediately
when operating by the "1" that appears on the KeyMatic display.
The "Master" remote control should not be given to anyone else, since only
this remove control can be used for registering or deleting other remote
controls!
If the "Master" remote control is lost (or is defective), proceed according to
chapter 7.3.2 to replace it.

7.3

Clearing taught remote controls

Press the bottom button "Lock" for approx. 2 seconds.
Another long press of the button "Lock" (press button for approx. 2seconds)
ends the deletion process, without deleting a memory location (e.g. if the
button has been actuated accidentally).
If no button actuation occurs for 3 minutes after calling the menu, the menu
is exited automatically without deleting a memory location.
Proceed as follows for unteaching:
• The LC display shows "X", the symbols for radio reception and "Lock"
flash.
• Now, take the "Master" remote control and press any button (button must
be already assigned to the KeyMatic) until the "X" disappears and the first
memory location appears.
• Select the memory location to be deleted, e.g. "3" on the door lock drive
with the button "Lock" or "Unlock".
In order to delete the selected memory location, briefly press the small
"Setup" button on the door lock drive. When the deletion is successful, the
menu is exited with three short tone signals.
The door lock drive can no longer be operated with the deleted remote control. If a
lost or stolen remote control is found again, it can be taught for the door lock drive
as describe previously.Since copying the remote control is not possible, there is no
reason not to continue using it as usual!
Only the occupied memory slots are shown when deleting. If no remote
controls have been taught (factory status) or only the "Master" remote
control is taught, the display shows the message "MASTER". Deleting the
"Master" remote control (memory location "1") is not possible here.

Other settings

7.4.1

Setting acknowledgement tones

The acknowledgement tone for the door lock drive can be set to any of several vari-
ations. 4 different tone pitches and the "Sound off" option are available. Proceed as
follows to set the acknowledgement tone:
• Press the small "Setup" button.
• If the "X" is shown on the display, press a button on the Master remote
control (button must be already assigned to the KeyMatic), which selects
the next acknowledgement tone and outputs it for your approval. With the
"Sound off" option, the setting is acknowledged with a very short tone
signal.
• Going through the procedure again selects the next acknowledgement
tone.
