We highly recommend that you use a lock cylinder with emergency and
hazard functionality (double cylinder). This allows the door to be unlocked
with the respective key from the outside, independent of the door lock drive.
Hand transmitters and the door lock drive work with batteries, which means that the
mechanism is not dependent on the existence of a power connection close to the
door.
The installation is possible without damaging the door leaf (additional fastening
holes for screwing the inside door fittings/door leaf into place exist however).
The door lock drive has an LC control display that is used for displaying the pro-
gramming as well as the status messages during normal operation so that the ope-
rator always knows the device status.
This display is supported by KeyMatic signal lamp which can be obtained as an
accessory and is either installed on the inside of the door behind a glass cover or
in the door and informs the operator of the drive status. The status is also indicated
with signal tones. The status of the drive can therefore be indicated audibly, visually
or a combination of the two.
In order to attain high system availability, clear warning indications concerning low
batteries are shown on the remote control as well as on the door lock drive.
Unique display symbols and text guarantee very fast overview of all configuration
and operation states.
