Wartung und Pflege
Bei allen Arbeiten:
• Gerät elektrisch vom Netz trennen.
• Kalt­ und Warmwasser vom Gerät
lösen.
• Gerät abnehmen, über den Kalt­
und Warmwasserauslaufstutzen
entleeren und auf den Tisch legen.
Öffnen der Gehäusekappe:
1 Reglerknopf abziehen, Schrauben

entfernen.
2 Die Riegelschrauben durch Links- oder
Rechtsdrehen nach innen absenken.
3 Gehäusekappe aufschwenken und
abnehmen.
Das Gerät ist jetzt für weitere Arbeiten

zugänglich.
Prüfung des Schutzleiters
nach BGV A3:
Netzstecker und Reglerknopf ziehen.
Die Überprüfung ist an der Reglerbe-

festigungsschraube und an dem Schutz-
leiterkontakt der Anschlussleitung durch-
zuführen.
Anschlussleitung tauschen:
Bei Austausch der Anschlussleitung darf
der Kunststoff-Faden zum Halten der
Formplatte nicht entfernt werden!
Flansch öffnen:
Beim Zusammenbau Dichtung mit
Seifenwasser benetzen.
Positionierung Regler-Fühler
im Schutzrohr:
Beim Austausch oder Demontage des
Reglers ist der Regler-Fühler 185 mm in
das Schutzrohr einzuführen und unter
den Erdungsstecker zu fixieren.

Entkalkung

Heizflansch ausbauen, groben Kalk
mit Holz entfernen, Heizkörper bis zur
Flanschplatte in Entkalkungsmittel
tauchen.
Ist der Heizkörper stark korrodiert,
kann es kostengünstiger sein, den
Heizflansch auszutauschen.
Störungsbeseitigung
durch den Fachmann
Beim Ansprechen des Begrenzers im
bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch muss
die Störungsursache beseitigt und der
Regler ausgetauscht werden.
Maintenance and cleaning
Applicable to all maintenance work:
• Disconnect unit from the mains
circuit.
• Disconnect cold and hot water
pipes from unit.
• Remove unit, drain via the cold
and hot water connection pieces
and place on a table.
To open the housing lid:
1 Pull off thermostat knob, remove
screws.
2 Lower the locking screws by rotating
them counterclockwise or clockwise.
3 Swing open housing lid and remove.
The unit is now accessible for all
additional maintenance work.
Survey of the protective conductor
(acc. BGV A3):
Pull off the electric plug and the knob
of the thermostat. The survey has to be
done on the fastening screw of the ther-
mostat and on the protective conductor
line of the power supply cabele.
Replace connecting cable:
The nylon thread holding the moulded
panel must not be removed when repla-
cing the connecting cable!
Open flange:
When you reassemble, wet seal with
soap water.
Positioning the control-feeler
in the feeler tube:
If the feeler needs to be replaced than
make sure to insert the thermostat
feeler 185 mm deep into the tube
and to fix it under the earth-plug
(protective conductor).
Decalcification
Remove heating flange, remove coarse
calcium with a piece of wood, immerse
heating element up to the flange plate
into decalcitant.
If the heating element shows marks
of heavy corrosion, it may be worth -
while to replace the heating flange.
Faults to be cleared by an approved
professional
If the safety cut out operates by using
the water heater normally, the reason for
the fault must rectified and the
thermostat must be replaced.
