Introduction
Cher client,
Avec ce thermomètre numérique 309, vous avez acheté un appareil de mesure de
température à 4 voies construit selon les derniers progrès techniques Il dispose
d'une interface sérielle et bidirectionnelle. Ainsi, vous avez la possibilité de connec-
ter l'appareil de mesure à l'ordinateur.
Sa construction est conforme aux normes DIN VDE 0411, 1ière partie relative
aux appareils de mesure EN 61010- 1. En outre, ce produit a été soumis à des
tests CEM (pour l'usage domestique) et répond par conséquent aux exigences
des directives européennes et nationales en vigueur. La conformité a été
contrôlée et les documents correspondants ont été consignés auprès du fabri-
cant.
Afin de maintenir l'appareil en bon état et d'en assurer l'exploitation sans risques,
vous devez respecter ce mode d'emploi !

Utilisation prévue du Thermologger 309 :
Mesure de températures dans la plage de –200°C à + 1370°C ou de – 328°F à +
2498°F au moyen d'un ou deux capteur(s) de température (indépendants) externe(s)
(type K).
Mesure de températures dans la plage de – 50°C à + 200°C max. ou de – 58°F à +
392°F au moyen des capteurs de température de type K fournis.
Transmission de signaux bidirectionnelle à un ordinateur compatible avec IBM avec
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT4.0 ou plus haut via interface sérielle; avec
fonction « data logging ».
Il n'est pas permis d'effectuer une mesure dans des conditions défavorables.

With the digital thermometer 309 you have bought a 4-channel temperature measur-
ing instrument that was constructed in keeping with the present technological devel-
opment. It is provided with a serial, bidirectional interface. Thus it is also possible to
connect the measuring instrument to the PC.
The structure complies with DIN VDE 0411, part 1 for measuring instruments =
EN 61010- 1. Moreover, it has been EMC tested (for the domestic domain) and
thus meets the requirements of the current European and national guidelines.
Conformity has been established and the relevant documents have been
deposited at the manufacturer.
We kindly request the user to follow the operating instructions in order to preserve
this condition and to ensure safe operation.

Prescribed use of the Thermologger 309:
Measurement of temperatures in a range that reaches from -200° C to +1370° C or
from –328° F to +2498° F by means of one or two (independent) external temperature
sensor(s) (K type).
Measurement of temperatures in a range that reaches from –50° C to max. +200° C
or from –58° F to +392° F by means of the supplied K type temperature sensors.
Bidirectional signal transmission to an IBM compatible PC with Windows '95 or Win-
dows '98 or Windows NT4.0 or higher by means of the serial interface; with data log-
ging function.
