Putting into operation

If your business handset has not yet been assembled

If your handset comes partly unassembled, you have to
insert the MEM card,
install the rechargeable battery,
remove the protective film from the display,
install and connect the charger and its plug-in power supply unit.
Finally, you, the system administrator of the telephone system or the ser-
vice staff must log in your handset to your telephone system.
Now your handset is ready for operation.

If your business handset comes completely assembled

If your handset comes completely assembled and has been logged into your
telephone system, you only need to connect the charger and its plug-in power
supply unit.

MEM-Card

You can make phone calls with your handset only when a MEM card has been
inserted. The MEM card is the storage medium for important data of your
handset, for your personal settings and your personal phonebook.
When changing the handset, please remove the MEM card from your present
handset and insert it into the new handset. You can use the new handset im-
mediately with this MEM card.
CAUTION
Do not use any pointed or sharp objects for changing the MEM
card !
