Chain brake
The saw is equipped with a chain brake,
The brake is designed to stop the chain
immediately in the event of a kick-back. The brake activates when the hand guard is
pushed forward (l),
If the brake is already activated, it is disengaged by pulling the front hand guard
back towards the front handle (2),
When working with the saw,the chain brake must be disengaged,
Use the chain brake as a "parking brake", if you move the saw with the engine
running,
Kettenbremse
Die Sage ist mit einer Kettenbremse ausgerustet, die bei einem unbeabsichtigtem
Ruckschlag die Kette sofort abbremst, Die Bremse lost aus, wenn der Handschutz
nach vorne gedrtickt wird (l).
Hat sich die Bremse ausgelost, wird sie wieder gespannt, indem der Handschutz
nach hinten gegen den Griffbtigel gedruckt wird (2),
Bei Arbeiten mit der Sage muss die Kettenbremsein unausgeioster Positionsein,
Bei jedem Transport mit Iaufendem Motor empfehlen wir, die Kette mittels der
Kettenbremsezu blockieren,
Frein de chaine
La trongonneuse est equipee d'un frein de chalne, Le frein est con~u pour bloquer la
chalne instantanement en cas de rebond imprevu. Le frein est actionne Iorsque
I'arceau de protection est pousse vers I'avant (l).
Le frein est rearme en ramenant I'arceau en arriere, vers la poignee avant (2).
Le frein ne doit pas 6tre declenche pendant Ietravail,
Se servir du frein de chaine comme d'un frein de stationnement pour tout
replacement avec Ie moteur au ralenti.
Freno de cadena
La sierra esta equipada con un freno de cadena diseriado para detener esta
inmediatamente en caso de producirse retrocesos involuntarios. El freno se acciona
cuando el arco de protection, se empuja hacia adelante (l).
Si se ha accionado el freno, tensarlo Ilevando el arco de proteccibn hacia atr&,
contra el asa, (2).
Al trabajar con la sierra, el freno de la cadena ha de estar desactivado,
Utilizar el freno de cadena como de "estacionamiento" siempre que se desplace
la sierra con el motor en marcha.
Inertia activated chain brake "
The inertia activated chain brake is activated when the front hand guard is pushed
forward, either manually or by a weight.
The advantage of the inertia brake is that the brake is activated after kick-back,
wen if the user's left hand does not contact the hand guard, i.e., also when the saw is
n the felling position.
Kettenbremse mit Tragheitsauslosung
Jie durch Tragheit ausgeloste Kettenbremse lost sich dann aus, wenn der Hand-
Schutzmanuell oder durch ein Auslosegewicht nach vorne gedruckt wird.
Der Vorteil mit einer durch Tragheit ausgelosten Bremse ist, classdie Bremse im
'alle eines Ruckschlages auslost, ohne class die Iinke Hand des Benutzers den
+andschutz beruhrt d,h, auch wenn die Sage in Fallposition ist.

;e frein est actionne par Ie replacement de I'arceau de protection vers I'avant, ce
mouvement etant effectue soit manuellement soit par une masselote incorporee.
L'avantage de ce frein est qu'il est actionne saris I'action de la main gauche sur
I'arceau, c'est a dire quand la tron$onneuse est en position d'abattage.
Freno de cadena con activation de inercia
La activation por inercia de este freno tiene Iugar cuando el arco protector se Ileva
hacia adelante, bien manualmente o a causa de un contrapeso incorporado.
La ventaja de este freno es que se activa en Ios retrocesos sin que la mano
izquierda del usuario accione el arco protector; es decir, incluso cuando la sierra esta
en la posicion de tala.
