10 Operation (Fig. 12)
Hints for clamping:
• Do not work with workpieces that are to small to be
clamped in place.
• Reinforce very thin workpieces by sawing through
them together with an additional bar. Very thin work-
pieces may "flutter" or break when sawing
• The workpiece supports (11) must always be attached
and used during work.
Set the desired projection by loosening the locking
screw (11a). Then retighten the locking screw (11a).
10.1
Unlocking/locking the product
(Fig. 8)
Unlocking:
1. The saw is unlocked from the lower position by gently
pressing down on the saw head (2) and, at the same
time, pulling out the locking pin  (2a) from the engine
mount.
2. Swivel the saw head (2) upwards.
Locking:
1. Press the saw head (2) downwards.
2. Turn the locking pin  (2a) 90 degrees to lock it in the
unlocked position.
10.2
Operating the rotary table (9)
(Fig. 9)
1. Loosen the rotary table (9) by turning the handle (9a)
anti-clockwise.
2. Use the handle (9a) to adjust the rotary table (9) to the
desired angle.
3. Re-tighten the handle  (9a) by turning it clockwise, to
fix the rotary table in place.
10.3
Inclining the saw head (2) (Fig. 7)
1. Loosen the locking screw (13).
2. Tilt the saw head (2) to the left to a maximum of 45°.
3. The angle indicator (13b) allows the set angle to be
read on the scale (13a).
4. Tighten the locking screw (13) again.
10.4
Operating the clamping device (12)
(Fig. 4)
The height of the clamping device  (12) can be adjusted
via the locking screw (12a).
1. Lower the clamping device (12) onto the workpiece.
2. Tighten the locking screw (12a).
3. Turn the knurled screw  (12b) clockwise to clamp the
workpiece.
4. In order to loosen the workpiece, proceed in reverse
order.
10.5
Cutting depth limit (groove sawing)
(Fig. 10)
WARNING
Risk of kick-back!
When making grooves, it is particularly important that
no lateral pressure is exerted on the saw blade. Other-
wise the saw head could suddenly kick up!
– Use a clamping device when making grooves. Avoid
lateral pressure on the saw head.
The cutting depth can be adjusted continuously using the
screw (16) and the stop (16b).
1. Loosen the knurled nut (16a) on the screw.
2. Set the desired cutting depth by turning the screw (16)
in or out.
3. Then tighten the knurled nut  (16a) on the screw  (16)
again.
4. Check the setting with a test cut.
10.6
Switching the LED cutting line
indicator (3) on/off (Fig. 1, 11)
Switching on:
1. Set the on/off switch LED (1c) to the position
The LED cutting line indicator  (3) projects a shadow
cutting line onto the workpiece and shows the exact
cutting path.
Switching off:
1. Set the LED on/off switch (1c) to the "OFF" position.
10.7
