7.2 Mounting the machine on the machine base
frame (Fig. 5)
1. Loosen the four hexagon socket screws on the
rubber feet from your PT1100S jointer/planer/
thicknesser and put them aside with the washers.
2. Align the rubber feet and your PT1100S jointer/
planer/thicknesser on the machine base frame so
that all holes are aligned. (Fig. 5)
3. Fix the PT1100S jointer and thicknesser to the
machine base frame using the 4 M8x25 hexagon
socket screws (10), 4 washers (11) and 4 hexago-
nal nuts supplied, as shown in Fig. 5.
4. Tighten the screws after assembly.
8. Cleaning
• We recommend that you clean the device directly
after every use.
• Clean the device at regular intervals using a damp
cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning
products or solvents; they could attack the plastic
parts of the device. Make sure that no water can
penetrate the device interior.
9. Storage
Store the device and its accessories in a dark, dry and
frost-free place that is inaccessible to children. The op-
timum storage temperature lies between 5 and 30 ˚C.
Store the power tool in its original packaging. Cover the
power tool to protect it from dust or moisture. Store the
operating manual with the power tool.
