Ensure that the machine base frame is on a level, firm
and stable floor.
Any use beyond this is improper use. The manufacturer
is not responsible for the resultant damages, the user
bears this risk alone.
Please observe that our equipment was not designed
with the intention of use for commercial or industrial
purposes. We assume no guarantee if the equipment
is used in commercial or industrial applications, or for
equivalent work.
The device is intended for use by adults. Children over
the age of 16 may use the tool except under supervision.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by an
improper use or incorrect operation of this device.
5. Safety information
• Only use the machine base frame in conjunction
with the PT1100S jointer /planer/thicknesser!
• Check the machine base frame for damage each
time before use.
• Always ensure the machine base frame is secure
when setting it up.
• Always ensure that you assume a natural and safe
standing position when working.
• Do not overload the machine base frame! Do not
use the machine base frame for purposes for which
it is not intended.
• To prevent the machine stand from tilting, make sure
that the load does not protrude sideways over the
machine stand.
• Modifications or unauthorised changes to the ma-
chine base frame as well as the use of unapproved
parts is forbidden.
• Keep the machine base frame out of reach of chil-
dren. Store the machine base frame in a location
that is inaccessible to unauthorised persons and
children.
m Attention!
When using electric power tools, in conjunction with
the machine base frame, the respective machine-spe-
cific safety measures must be implemented as protec-
tion against electric shock, and the risk of injury or fire.
Read all of the instructions for the electric tool that you
intend to mount and operate before using the tool.
Safety instructions for the electric device mounted
must likewise be observed.
Store these safety instructions safely.
Observe all safety instructions. If you disregard the
safety instructions, you endanger yourself and others.
6. Unpacking
• Open the packaging and carefully remove the de-
vice.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the pack-
aging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the device and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must
be informed immediately. Later claims will not be
recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the
operating instructions before using for the first time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original parts. Replace-
ment parts can be obtained from your dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number as
well as type and year of manufacture for your equip-
ment.
m WARNING!
The device and the packaging material are not
children's toys! Do not let children play with plas-
tic bags, films or small parts! There is a danger of
choking or suffocating!
7.
Assembly
7.1 Fitting the machine base frame (Fig. 3 + 4)
1.
Connect the rubber feet (6) to the legs (1). (Fig. 3)
2.
Connect two legs (1) at the top to the cross mem-
ber (2) and at the bottom to the short central strut
(4) using a total of four carriage bolts M8x12 (7),
four washers (8) and four nuts (9). (Fig. 3)
3.
Repeat on the other side of the machine base
frame.
4.
Connect the two assemblies at the top to the longitu-
dinal member (3) and at the bottom to the long cen-
tral strut (5) using a total of four carriage bolts M8x12
(7), four washers (8) and four nuts (9). (Fig. 4)
5.
Repeat on the other side of the machine base
frame.
