5. Quick reference guide

NOTE
Detailed instructions for the following activities can be found in the relevant sections
of these instructions for use. Strictly follow the sequence of the following activities
during first time use, to prevent damage to the device.
WARNING
With any action you take you should pay attention to the safety notes in the
corresponding paragraphs.
■ Set up the device.
■ Attach the background.
■ Connect the device to the power supply.
■ Switch device on / off.

6. Preparing the device for use

6.1 Assembling the device

WARNING
Make sure that the shooting cube is standing securely and on a non-slip surface.
■ Fold the side parts, base and cover together to form a cube. Make sure that the
Velcro seams are interlocking.
6.2 Attach background accessories
■ Fasten the desired background to the inside with the Velcro fasteners
6.3 Connecting the device to the power supply
■ Switch off the device. See Switching the unit on and off.
■ Compare the local power supply with the connected load of the unit.
■ See Technical data. If the connection values do not match, contact please
contact info@walser.de.
■ Connect the power cable coming from the power supply unit to the shooting
cube.
■ Connect the power cable to the power socket on the power supply unit and to
the power outlet.
■ Only connect the unit to a grounded power outlet.

7. Operating the device

7.1 Switching the device on and off

■ Switch on the device: Press the on/off switch on the power cable.
■ The unit is ready for operation.
■ The LEDs light up. By turning the rotary switch of the power supply you can
change the brightness of the LED from 10% to 100%.
■ Switch off the unit: Press the on/off switch on the power cable.
■ If the lamp was switched on: The lamp switches off.

8. Transporting and storing the device

■ Switch off the device: See Switching the device on, switching it off.
■ Let the unit cool down completely.
WARNING
Fire hazard due to hot equipment parts. Let the appliance cool down completely.
■ Disconnect the power cord and power supply unit from the device.
■ Clean the device if necessary. See Cleaning the unit.
■ Fold the unit and place all dismantled elements in a cardboard box and trans-
port or store according to the specifications in the Technical Data. See technical
data.

9. Troubleshooting
