I. Connect V.T. V.M. between the test point
TP203) and ground.
2. Set Dolby NR switch SW3 at ON position and input
selector switch SW2 (A, B) at LINE position.
3. To allow the unit to play a normal tape, set NORMAL/
Cr02 tape selector switch SW4 at NORMAL position and
metal tape ON/OFF switch SW5 at OFF position.
4. Put the normal tape into the unit.
5. With the set at record mode, give it signal of —35 dB
(17.8mV} IOOHz from line input socket J4-A (or J4-B) and
adjust the record level controls V R102 (and VR202) so
that the V.T. V.M. reads 32.6mV.
6. Give the unit I kHz signal, 10 kHz signal and 12.5 kHz
signal in the order and if the V.T.V.M.
table 11-1 with each input signal, it is normal.
7. Give the unit signalof —50dB (3.16mV), 100Hz andadjust
the record level controls VR 102 (and VR202) so that the
V.T.V.M. reads 5.8 mV.
8. In the samemanner as in the step 6 above, give the unit I
kHz signal, 10 kHz signal and 12.5 kHz signal in the order
and if the V.T.V.M. reads as tabulated table 11-2 with
each input signal, it is normal.
