The rescue harness with carrying function may only be used and/or stored unprotected in the offshore

area for a limited period of time. The metal components must be checked for signs of corrosion with
appropriate care and at shorter intervals.
15. Cleaning instructions
After each use, the rescue harness with carrying function must be thoroughly cleaned and then stored dry
•
in a ventilated room protected from UV radiation.
Avoid contact with acids, corrosive liquids and oils. If unavoidable, clean as quickly as possible with mild
•
detergent and hand wash in plenty of water (approx. 30 °C).
Always dry naturally, never near fire or other sources of heat.
Do not dry clean, tumble dry or spin dry and do not use bleach.

• If you have any questions about disinfection, please contact the manufacturer.
• Any body fluids on the rescue harness with carrying function may only be cleaned with water.
16. Duration of use
The service life depends on the respective operating conditions. Based on previous experience, a service life of
10 years can be assumed for the TURTLE transform rescue harness with carrying function under normal
conditions of use. The year of manufacture of the rescue harness is shown on the rating plate.
The rescue harness with carrying function must be returned to the manufacturer in the event of any type of
damage to any components for analysis of the damage and repair if necessary. Continued use of the rescue
harness with damaged components will result in immediate loss of the liability claim.
