The load-bearing straps are the left (g) and right (h) leg loops, the length of which can also be adjusted to the
respective person's height using buckles. Horizontally, the horizontal person is rescued or transported via four
suspension loops (i) provided on the long sides, which are either fitted in pairs with two round rings or four
shackles for attaching. The person is rescued or transported vertically in a hanging position using the vertical
suspension loop (j). Unlike the "TURTLE" model, the "TURTLE transform" model also has an extendable leg
support (k). This protects the person's legs from injuries caused by sharp edges that could be present in any
confined space during a rescue scenario. The leg support can be used both in advance and when the casualty
is already in the rescue system. The leg support should only be used in conjunction with (i).
