12. Operational test
Before each use of the rescue harness with carrying function, it must be checked for the following signs of wear or
damage:
Webbing or fabric damage due to abrasion, cutting, heat or chemicals

Any type of damage to seam connections
•
Any type of damage to the supporting textile structure
•
Any type of soiling caused by technical liquids or solids that can no longer be cleaned
•
Damage to the Velcro fasteners
•
Deformation or corrosion of the fittings or push-in fasteners
•
• Defective fasteners or buckles
• Legibility of product labeling
As soon as one of the characteristics is determined to be "not in order" during the pre-use inspection, the rescue
harness with carrying function must not be used.
