The limit switching unit is factory-wired according to the wiring diagram. The two limit switches
are wired so that they are isolated.

Manual operation with the „Light chain"
This is solely designed for direct mount drives fitted horizontally, so that it is possible to easily
open and close the doors in the event of a power failure. When the „Light chain" is operated, in
conjunction with a microswitch the control circuit is automatically disconnected.
After manual operation the control current is automatically switched back on again. The „Light
chain" ensures that even if a spring breaks the door cannot fall. A brief pull on the hoist chain is
sufficient to open and close the door. Manual operation is automatically deactivated again
when you let go of the pull chain.
Manual operation with clutch, e.g. in the event of a power failure

With this type of manual operation in an emergency the direct mount drive can be mechanically
disengaged from the door barrel by pulling on the chain. The sectional door, which is
counterbalanced by springs, can then be opened and closed manually. After manual operation
the drive must be re-engaged by pulling on the chain.
Manual operation with hand crank

In the event of a power failure the direct mount drive can be prepared for manual operation by
attaching the short hand crank to the shaft of the motor. When the short crank is used, the
control current is disconnected automatically in conjuction with a microswitch.
After using the crank always remove it again afterwards.
