10 Troubleshooting

Battery heats up to above 45°C
during charging.
Battery will not charge.
Battery is damaged.
Range of the battery seems low.
"Speed sensor signal missing"
"Battery communication error"
Charging of your 17 Ah battery
ends before completion.
The LED in the charger (where
present) is lashing red.
"Motor temperature is too high"

CAUSE
High ambient temperatures

REMEDY
Stop the charging process and allow the battery
to cool down. Then charge the battery in a cooler
environment. If the problem still occurs, contact
your specialist cycle shop; the battery may need
to be replaced.

You can charge the battery at temperatures
between 0°C and 45°C.

plug it in again. Now the battery should charge
ully. If the problem persists, please contact your
specialist cycle shop.
Disconnect the battery rom the charger and then
connect it again. If the error message still ap-
pears, contact your specialist cycle shop to check
the battery and charger.
Allow the motor to cool down before resuming
your journey.
