Caution: Using coolant from an external and/or
openable container may cause the electrode to be
clogged by an inflow of foreign substances.
(2) Grounding pads
Caution: Re-using grounding pads is prohibited.
Caution: Attach an even number of grounding
pads to the patient. If not, burns may occur from the
grounding pad(s).
- Attach the horizontal lines of the grounding pads
on the thighs widthwise after removing each
grounding pad's transparent plastic protection film.
- Be careful not to form air bubbles between the
grounding pads and the skin while attaching. If
required, remove hair at the site of treatment. Clean
and dry the area before attaching the grounding
pads.
- Attach the grounding pads at the same distance
from the treated area.
- Make sure the lines connected to the grounding
pads and the electric surgical device are not twisted.
- Recommended attachment site of the grounding
pads: muscular body area with large heat dissipating
blood vessels
Caution: The areas to be avoided for attachment
of the grounding pads: areas with metal implants, a
pacemaker, fat, previous burns, inflammation, bone
protrusion(s), an ECG electrode and/or electric line(s),
and/or areas where liquid can be collected.
(3) Tubing set-up
- Connect the electrode, the inflow/outflow tubes,
and the pump tubing.
Caution: Be careful when taking out the
electrode from the packaging. The product's
elasticity may cause injury to the patient and/or
operator.

Electrode for electrosurgical device
[EUSRA RF Electrode]
- Open the cover of pump head upwards, place the
pump tube (rubber tube) in the middle of the roller,
and place the tube precisely at the groove of the
pump head. Then, secure the tube in the pump by
closing the cover.
- Straighten the tube by stretching both sides.
- Hang the coolant on the IV pole and puncture the
bag with the spike. The roller clamp should be
temporarily closed until the beginning of the
procedure.
- Open the roller clamp during the procedure.
(4) Length Control Luer ( Only to 18G Model)
- Use the Length Control Luer to change the length
depending on the length of the EUS or scope.
