The heater is equipped with an occupancy detector, but does not automatically
lower the temperature when people are not present:
- Check that occupancy detection is activated (see page 43).
- Check that nothing interferes with occupancy detection (see the operation manual
for the heater).
The device will not switch to Freeze Protection mode after the temperature
drops when a window is opened:
- Make sure that Automatic open window detection mode is activated (see page 42).
- Check the location of the heater (see its operation manual).
- Check if the temperature difference between the room air and the outside air is
significant.
The device will automatically switch to Eco or Freeze Protection mode when
you are present and the windows are closed:
- Deactivate automatic open window detection (see page 42).
- Deactivate occupancy detection (see page 43).
The heater is equipped with an occupancy detector, but there is a delay
between Active, Comfort or Eco mode and your request:
- If your lifestyle is very irregular, e.g. every week is different, it is advisable to use only
occupancy/absence detection and programme the device into permanent Comfort
mode (see the section Integrated weekly and daily programme, page 23).
- The Eco optimization function can generate slight deviations to guarantee comfort
levels at the right time or to save energy by briefly anticipating the transition to Eco
mode.
- Check that the occupancy/absence detector is not affected or blocked by an
external source (see the heater's operation manual).
The heater is equipped with an occupancy detector, but no operating time is
programmed (the display shows ECO):
- Check that the occupancy/absence detector is not affected or blocked by an
