Life cycle

The nebuliser handset is designed for
multiple uses. The individual components

of the eFlow rapid nebuliser handset are
subject to changing stresses during treat-
ment and during preparation for hygienic
reprocessing. The frequency and duration
of use are decisive factors. The distinction
must also be made between use at home
(without a change of patients) and use in a

When the life cycle has expired, it is
recommended that the components be
replaced to ensure proper functioning.
The device components and batteries/
rechargeable batteries must be disposed
of in accordance with local regulations
(see Chapter 8, DISPOSAL).

ments for a total of 30 minutes' inhalation
and one disinfection cycle per day

3 months The life cycle of the aerosol head may be
as short as 3 months if it is used more often
and for longer periods than the values indi-
cated in the profile above. The components
must then be replaced correspondingly
sooner.
