3.3 Leistungsverhalten und Einsatzgrenzen

Die Kälteleistung von R290 ist etwas geringer als von R22.
R1270 hat dagegen eine höhere Kälteleistung und liegt auf
ähnlichem Niveau wie R404A/R507A. Hinsichtlich der Lei-
stungszahlen (COP) unterscheiden sich R290 und R1270
nur geringfügig von R22 (siehe Abbildung 8 und 9) und sind
somit bei Normal- und Klimakühlung günstiger als
R404A/R507A. Allerdings hat die Sauggasüberhitzung bei
R290 und R1270 einen größeren Einfluss als bei R22. Beide
profitieren in Leistung und Effizienz von nutzbarer Überhit-
zung. Der Einsatz eines Wärmeübertragers zwischen Saug-
gas- und Flüssigkeitsleitung ist deshalb vorteilhaft. Mit
R1270 kann jedoch die höhere Druckgas- und Öltemperatur
bei höheren Druckverhältnissen (z.B. Tiefkühlung und hohe
Verflüssigungstemperatur) zu Einschränkungen führen.

3.4 Gewährleistung
Die Gewährleistung für R290- und R1270-Verdichter erstre-
ckt sich aus schließlich auf Herstellungsfehler. Sie gilt nicht
für Schäden, die durch unsachgemäßen Einsatz oder Miss-
achtung der jeweils gültigen Sicherheitsvorschriften verur-
sacht werden!

3.3 Performance behaviour and application limits

The refrigerating capacity of R290 is slightly lower than that
of R22. In contrast, R1270 has a higher refrigerating capacity
and is at similar level as R404A/R507A. In terms of their
coefficients of performance (COP), R290 and R1270 differ
only slightly from R22 (see figures 8 and 9) and are thus bet-
ter suited than R404A/R507A for medium temperature, refri-
gerating and air-conditioning. However, the effect of the suc-
tion gas superheat is higher on R290 and R1270 than it is on
R22. Both benefit from useful superheat in terms of perfor-
mance and efficiency. This is why the use of a heat exchan-
ger between the suction gas line and liquid line is advanta-
geous. However, with R1270 the higher discharge gas and
oil temperatures can give rise to restrictions at higher pres-
sure ratios (e.g. low temperature application and high con-
densing temperature).

3.4 Warranty
The warranty for R290 and R1270 compressors is limited
exclusively to manufacturing failures. It does not cover dama-
ge caused by improper use or non-observance of the appli-
cable safety regulations!
