13. REMARKS
Clean the radar surface periodically with a damp cloth, as rain, snow and dust may affect its
normal operation.
If the working environment changes in the detection area, perform a new "Background
Learning".
There should be no moving objects (such as billboards, license plate recognition cameras
etc.) in the radar detection area that may affect its normal operation.
It is not recommended to use the radar in a single lane where different types of barriers are
installed.
It is recommended to install 2 radars or remote-controlled safety barriers for the entry and
exit of semi-trailers, concrete mixers and other vehicles with a chassis higher than 1 m.
It is not recommended to install the radar on muddy roads and in extreme weather condi-
tions (thunderstorms, heavy snowfall), as this may affect the stability of the radar operation.
Set the detection area according to the length of the barrier boom. Normally this area is
slightly smaller or equal to the length of the barrier boom to detect pedestrians and/or vehi-
cles passing under the barrier boom.
In the presence of decelerating speed bumps, the radar installation height should be 75-80
cm.
The applicable power supply for the radar is 9-24 V DC or preferably 12 V/1 A.
