Ionisation probe / Ignition electrode
Secondary air
Secondary air is the air flow between
the blast tube and the turbulator.
The turbulator position (dimension Y)
may be read on the graduated scale on
the RTC setting plate. Position 50

corresponds to the maximum quantity
of secondary air and 0 to the minimum
quantity. Upon delivery of the burner,
dimension Y is set at 30mm or 35mm.
Depending on burner power and the
installation conditions, adjustment may
be necessary to optimize ignition quality
and combustion values.

Check combustion head
· Unscrew the safety screw D (see
page 32).
· Remove the mobile spindle E.
· Open the burner body.
· Unplug the ignition cables and the
ionisation cable.
· Unscrew the four screws in the
setting plate by 2 rotations.
· Unscrew the fastening screw C.
· Remove the combustion head.
· Check the settings of the ignition
electrodes and of ionisation probe /
turbulator and re-adjust.
· When re-assembling, proceed in
reverse order.
· Check condition and position of the
J1 gasket.
· Check tightness.
Adjustment
Adjustment may occur during burner
operations. Basic setting values,
depending on burner capacity, are
indicated page 36.
· Remove the 2 screws 2 (diagram).
· Move the plate in the desired
direction.
· Rescrew the 2 screws 2.
For a change in dimension Y:
the level of CO is either increased or

decreased.
Recommended settings for natural
gas
On the gas diffuser marked A, keep 5
slots open towards the exterior and 1
towards the interior by sliding the
shutter/diffuser E.
Attaching the turbulator using 6 M5X6
perforated screws F.
On the gas diffusers marked B, keep
5 slots open towards the exterior and
0 towards the interior by sliding the
shutters/diffusers E.
Recommended settings for propane
gas
On the gas diffusers marked A, keep 3
slots open towards the exterior and 1
towards the interior by sliding the
shutter/diffuser E.
Attaching the turbulator using 6 M5X6
non-perforated screws F.
On the gas diffusers marked B, keep
3 slots open towards the exterior and
0 towards the interior by sliding the
shutters/diffusers E.
